Anna Tuyen is a self-taught creative and educator dedicated to conveying vulnerable and diverse representations of art. She has worked with various mediums and fields, such as: videography, digital and 35mm film photography, graphic design, artistic sketches, poetry, journalism and painting.
Anna completed her education with a Bachelor's Degree in: English and Humanities, as well as a Graduate Degree in Master of Teaching. Having an upbringing from a marginalized community, she grew up hyper-sensitive towards racially and culturally-charged issues—which influenced her to develop a social justice-oriented lens throughout areas in her work.
Her objective is rooted in supporting underserved youth and underrepresented narratives. Ultimately, Anna aims to curate visual work that support the narratives and shared experiences belonging to people of colour.
